Spirit

This path involves using spirits to do the caster's work or bidding. Failure earns the permanent enmity of that spirit, and loses the caster a Willpower point. This path is very rare, one of the rarest of the non-infernal paths. 1. Evil Eye - Classic bad luck curse. Spirits follow the target around, jinxing him or her. System: Caster rolls Manipulation+Intimidation versus the target's Humanity/Path Rating (except for Evil Revelations, where difficulty is automatically 2 regardless), 10 - Rage, Arete * 2) maximum 10, minimum 2. The number of successes rolled equals the number of botches the caster can assign to the victim during the remainder of the scene. 2. Spirit Eyes 'The Sight' - Similar to aura perception of Auspex, allows the caster to see spirits and ghosts. System: Caster rolls Perception+Occult versus the target's Willpower. The more successes, the more information. Once seen, spirits can be spoken with. 3. Spirit Slave - A task can be demanded of a spirit. The spirit will perform, but not of free will. System: Caster and spirit roll Willpower versus 6. If after any turn the caster has 0 accumulated successes, the spirit can bail out. 4. Fetishes - Spirits can be forced into objects to make fetishes, which can then be carried around. Once imprisoned, the caster can use the spirit's powers at any time. System: Caster must score at least one success in a contested willpower roll with the spirit, difficulty being the opponent's willpower. If after any turn, caster has 0 accumulated successes, the spirit may leave. 5. Journey - Similar to psychic projection, but the caster's spirit remains in the physical realm. A character can be trapped in a fetish or potentially compelled by any spirit spell while doing this. No physical attacks can be made on or by the caster; mental disciplines work as per usual. Spirit form is visible unless Obfuscate is used. System: One willpower point must be spent. Spirit can travel at up to 500 mph, and appears naked.
