The main ability of thaumaturgy, off of which all others are based. This path does not require any other expenditures or rolls than the ones already detailed for each level.%r1 - A Taste for Blood. You can determine how much blood is left in the target, how recently a vampire fed, and approximate generation of the target. You must touch the blood in order to tell anything about it though. System: Perception + Occult versus 7 plus physical contact with blood. Each success reveals something. 2 - Blood Rage. You can force another kindred to spend their blood. The target's difficulty to avoid frenzy increases by one for the scene. System: Dexterity + Subterfuge versus the target's Willpower. Every success spends a blood point as the caster desires. 3 - Blood of Potency. You can lower your effective generation for a short time. System: Manipulation + Survival versus 8. A minimum of two successes is necessary for this to work, as successes must be spent on a one-to-one basis both for generation lowered and duration in hours. 4 - Theft of Vitae. You can transfer blood into your system from a distance, even taking it from others. System: Intelligence + Medicine versus 6 to pull from an inanimate object, or versus the target's Willpower if animate. Blood must be within 50 feet, in clear view, and the target will know what happened and who did it. 5 - Cauldron of Blood. With a touch, you can boil another person's blood.%r< System: Willpower versus a difficulty equal to the number of points to be boiled, plus four. The victim takes one wound level, aggravated/soakable, for each point boiled. As the max difficulty is 10, the maximum number of points you can boil is 10-4, or 6.
