Entropy

Sense Fate & Fortune. The mage may sense the current of Destiny, what is significant and what is not, and what is true or untrue. The mage can pick a lucky horse, or sense if and where a lock has a defect. Control Probability. The mage has amazing, yet subtle control over hundreds of small events. He can control whom a waiter will serve first, who picks the shortest straw, who wins a coin flip or finds the one bullet in the chamber. He may, in effect, determine the outcome of any minor event that would normall be random. The greater the probability he tries to effect, the more difficult the act becomes. Affect Predictable Patterns. The Disciple of Entropy can now 'fix' the deterioration of Patterns, causing (for example) new television sets to blow a fuse while old junker cars mysteriously still run years after they should have fallen apart. Rocks can be eroded away, but as Entropy is a slow process, only things with thousands of intricate parts, such as machines, can be affected instantly. Again, these acts are more difficult as they stray further from the realm of possibility. Finally, when used in conjunction with Life or Matter 2, objects may be imbued with a 'Destiny' of their own, which may strangely alter or enhance their fate. Affect Life. Entropy, order, and probability are far more complex when dealing with living organisisms, as living beings are self-correcting by nature. Adepts of Entropy, however, undestand the hundreds of factors involved in life's beginning, maturation, withering, and death. Life can be 'blessed or cursed', 'fixed or broken', or otherwise effected by Entropy. Affect Thought. Masters of Entropy expand their control ovre reality by studying the ways in which ideas change over time. They can create memes, 'happy thoughts,' the crumbling of opinions, or the inspiration of creativity.
