Journey's End

Performed for a fallen hero. His body is taken to the center of the caern, placed in a diamond formed by mystic lanterns. A slow drumbeat sets the mournful mood, and a representative of each breed honors the deceased in a race-appropriate manner. Then the surviving sentai members (if any) sing a change of loss and sorrow, otherwise by the Gai'nan. At the conclusion, the entire Court chants a mantra calling the body home; a wind rises, the lanterns are extinguished, and the body is absorbed into the Umbra. It is an ultimate honor.
