Requisition

This Background gives you a dice pool when you're requesting special favors from the higher-ups. This is primarily a social roll reflecting the process of getting the requisition approved, managing the paperwork, and dealing with the myriad clerks, assistants, and technicians involved in fulfilling the request. Members of Cabals/Amalgams may pool the Requisitions ratings of individual members if they want to obtain shared items for group use. In these cases, particular member of the group is designated as the Project Leader. Members of a project may pool points. The project leader rolls once every 30 IC days. It's assumed that your Relationship difficulty is 10 - your Status rating to start with. Though your status may not change your Relationship difficulty may rise and fall based on your performance. Each success gives you 5 Background points with which to get resources and gear (can be anything from Spaceships to cold hard cash to fire breathing cybernetic Griffins). As for mundane stuff, just assume that three successes or more allows you to get whatever you need. At the end of the mission, return the gear and report on your performance. If the mission went well, your Relationship might go up one or two factors; if not, your status could drop one or two factors - maybe more, if you really screwed up. If you lose the requisitioned equipment, that will cost you some favor, too.
